Jessica Simpson And Nick Lachey Are Separating

With the holiday season coming up, it was time to tell the world what it already knew, despite repeated denials by Jessica Simpson and her manager father:

"This is the mutual decision of two people with an enormous amount of respect and admiration for each other. We hope that you respect our privacy during this difficult time."

This statement would seem to preclude a reality show based on the separation, but we'll have to wait and see.
